ROCK THE WALK 5K
In partnership with the American Heart Association & the American Diabetes Association we invite you to join us for Rock the Walk 2025, an annual 5K (3.1 mile) walk held in loving memory of the late DeJaughn “Billy” Murphy — a passionate leader, visionary, and champion for community and faith.
January 2025, DeJaughn and his wife, Pheobe wrote down their goals for the year. Among them was his desire to host a walk in honor of his late twin brother.
Ironically—and perhaps prophetically—the “V” in the name looked like a “J,” as if DeJaughn’s own name was already woven into this vision. Wild, right?
Now, with a heart full of love and conviction, Pheobe is carrying forward what he started—through his music, his merchandise, and the movement he poured his soul into.
Rock the Walk 5K is more than a tribute; it’s a promise to keep his light shining and to bring communities together in his honor.
